Fly to Los Angeles direct with British Airways and spend three nights at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. We recommend a trip to Sunset Boulevard, Venice Beach and Santa Monica. From Los Angeles head to Kauai, staying at the Sheraton Kauai Resort on Poipu Beach for 5 nights. The sheltered coves and gentle surf make it ideal for swimming, SCUBA diving and snorkelling. A little further up the coast, Spouting Horn is a spectacular natural attraction, with a blowhole forcing plumes of surf 50 feet in the air.

From Kauai island hop with Hawaiian Airlines to Honolulu to spend 5 nights at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach. Although the resort itself has over 90 shops and 20 bars and restaurants, its central location finds it surrounded by a huge range of restaurants, shops and bars. The more adventurous traveller will enjoy a walk to the summit of Diamond Head which offers spectacular views of the island.
